Konjac Sponge

Traditionally used in Japan, the Konjac Sponge is naturally derived from the root of the konjac plant. It provides a unique cleansing experience as it glides over the skin, gently exfoliating while stimulating blood flow. Thanks to its malleability, it effortlessly cleanses hard-to-access areas like no other method of cleansing. 

It allows for a deep cleanse and thoroughly purifies pores, without posing risk of agitation, even to the most delicate skin types. 

Our konjac sponges are infused with charcoal, which is well known for its ability to combat congested, acne-prone skin.

Directions

When to use: Use twice daily as part of your AM/PM routine.

First time using your sponge: The sponge will be hard when dry. Before initial use, rinse and squeeze under warm water for 1-2 minutes, or until sponge is completely soft.

Directions for use: Using circular motions, massage over skin either on its own or with a small amount of your usual liquid cleanser, depending on the level of cleansing your skin requires. 

Before each use, make sure to rinse and rehydrate your sponge so that it is clean and soft. After each use, rinse sponge well and then hang to dry in a clean, well ventilated area. 

Product life and disposal: This product will last 2-3 months with daily use. Once it reaches a certain amount of use, the sponge will begin to breakdown and look tired. At this point, it is ready to be replaced. To dispose of your sponge, simply add it to your compost bin or allow it to decompose in your garden. 

Cautions: Cease use if irritation occurs. Never use the sponge when dry as this could damage skin.
